Bind

I guess it is mainly used to force a function to use a custom 'this' target. Like overriding the 'this'.

I should revisit this. There is more to learn. It seems to be something important. But it is said bind is not that necessary anymore, after es6 arrow functions are introduced.

Device Orientation Event and API

  • You can test and override this with settings->more tools->sensors in chrome
  • Guess you can't do it without event. But what if one fired the event forcefully ? Oy oy oy
